Hawkman production used costume ensemble worn by Ted Carroll as ‘Biro’.
Comprising of an original production used helmet, wings and attached front body harness. (Pants and sandals have been added for display purposes).
The helmet is a rare complete all original surviving example, still retaining all of it’s components and detail. The harness is made of real leather and the attached wings are beautifully detailed to emulate feathers. The Hawkman actors are known to have suffered during filming due to the weight and awkwardness of the wings.
